Dermal Fillers

Belotero Balance is for the correction of perioral lines. It can also be used for the enhancement of the vermillion border. It's indicated for use to increase the volume of face skin tissue. It integrates seamlessly into the skin and is recommended for the correction of moderate lines and wrinkles.

Belotero Balance is an ideal product for volume enhancement treatments and can be used for deep furrows, lip augmentation, facial outlines, naso-labial furrows, glabellar lines and the correction of facial depressions, either due to injury or age-related scaring.

Restylane treatments encompass a range of injectable fillers sourced from hyaluronic acid. This clear gel formulation is specifically created to act like the body’s own naturally-produced hyaluronic acid. Restylane helps smooth and fill moderate to severe facial wrinkles and folds. This injectable works especially well for nasolabial folds, the lines that run from the nose to the corners of the mouth, as well as marionette lines that run from the corners of the mouth toward the chin.

Restylane was the first hyaluronic acid filler approved by the FDA for subdermal facial cosmetic injections. Both Restylane and Restylane Silk have also been approved by the FDA for lip enhancement in patients over the age of 21. This unique formulation works to add fullness and definition to the lips.

Radiesse is a transparent, sterile, injectable gel made of calcium hydroxylapatite particles. Radiesse can be injected into wrinkles to restore a smoother appearance to aging skin, into areas of facial fat loss to restore volume or into hands to reduce the looks of visible veins and bones.

The results of Radiesse can last up to one year or more. This product is particularly suited to correct more severe wrinkles and folds as it possesses better volumizing properties.

Radiesse contains particles of synthetic calcium hydroxylapatite (CaHA), which is commonly used in medicine and is a component of bone and teeth. When you inject Radiesse, the particles add volume beneath the skin, supporting the skin and smoothing the appearance of wrinkles or folds. Although the CaHA gradually breaks down within the body, since it had acted as a scaffold for collagen to grow, it leaves behind these collagen fibers to maintain the volume.

Juvederm is an injectable dermal filler with a hyaluronic acid base. This treatment focuses on the cheeks, lips and mouth and is used to restore facial curves and reduce the signs of aging. The injections typically take between 15 to 60 minutes. Approved by the FDA in 2006, Juvederm injections are now one of the most common nonsurgical cosmetic procedures done in the United States.

Botox/Xeomin

Botox injections work by blocking chemical signals that cause muscles to contract. These injections temporarily relax facial muscles that cause wrinkles in the forehead and around the eyes. Botox was approved for medical use to treat conditions like migraines and hyperhidrosis in 1989, and its cosmetic use was approved by the FDA in 2002.

You may begin to notice results within 24 to 48 hours, with full results in 30 days, with results lasting up to four months for moderate to severe frown lines. Remember that results vary from patient to patient though, so your healthcare provider will plan your next appointment based on your results and aesthetic goals.

BOTOX® Cosmetic is not a permanent treatment. If you discontinue treatment the moderate to severe frown lines, crow's feet and forehead lines will gradually return.

Xeomin, like Botox, is an FDA-approved botulinum toxin type A injection. It is indicated for the temporary improvement in the appearance of moderate to severe glabellar lines. Often colloquially called frown lines, glabellar lines are vertical lines that appear between the eyebrows that are caused by the contraction of small muscles in an area called the glabella located between the eyebrows and in the forehead. Overuse of those muscles through frowning and squinting can cause permanent wrinkles. Xeomin works by reducing muscle contractions in targeted areas.

Facial Peels

Dermaplaning is effective in minimizing the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles and acne scars, while leaving the skin smooth, supple, and vibrant. Performed by skilled hands, this procedure immediately rejuvenates and exfoliates the skin by removing the outermost layer of dead skin cells and vellus hair (peach fuzz).

Microdermabrasion is a minimally invasive procedure used to renew overall skin tone and texture. It can improve the appearance of sun damage, wrinkles, fine lines, age spots, acne scarring, melasma, and other skin-related concerns and conditions.

Tors Medical Clinic offers two types of microdermabrasions: Diamond and Crystal Diamond microdermabrasion uses a special applicator head with an abrasive surface to gently remove the thick outer layer of the skin to rejuvenate it. Crystal microdermabrasion is a technique that uses microfine crystals to spray onto the skin while simultaneously vacuuming the residue back up into a waste collection chamber.

SkinMedica Vitalize Facial Peels diminish the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles and addresses skin tone unevenness that can be caused by acne scarring or other pigmentary changes. SkinMedica Rejuvenize Facial Peels work to smooth the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. You should see noticeable improvement after just one peel and compelling results after three to six peels. These treatments are appropriate for mild to moderate skin imperfections and must be administered by a licensed medical professional.
